MY Disney COVERS
Anyone who knows me knows that I'm a Disney fanatic. Disney movies filled my childhood, and my mother let me grow up learning to play Disney music on the piano as "fun pieces" to counter act my classical pieces. Now, for these covers, I just used the original karaoke music.

A Whole New World
"Aladdin"
Oh yes, I loved Aladdin as a kid. I learned almost all of the songs in the songbook. Playing this song on the piano was one of my favorite things to do growing up. Thanks to vaanfluff's YouTube channel, I was able to grab me an mp3 with Aladdin already singing to me! ;)
I See the Light
"Tangled"
It was actually kind of hard to record this without crying, because I cry almost every time I see the scene in the movie. Little Rapunzel, seeing those lights that were meant for her all along, so excited as she scrambles to the edge of the boat....and Flynn, looking at her with such an adoring gaze....LOVE IT! Thank you vaanfluff for singing with me!
Colors of the Wind
"Pocahontas"
Pocahontas came out when I was 10 years old. I distinctly remember me and my brother Ryan in giggle fits when poor Flit was stuck to the canoe and flipped over into the water. Good times... This is such a powerful song that teaches us to embrace diversity, and to respect the land our Father gave us.
Part of Your World
"The Little Mermaid"
The Little Mermaid came out when I was about five years old. It has always been a defining part of my music growing up. I am pretty sure when I chose my style of voice, it was modeled after Ariel's innocence. This song has been, and always will be, one of my favorite Disney songs ever. (Btw...I'm sorry for the music cutting off at the end!)
Once Upon a Dream
"Sleeping Beauty"
Of all the Disney movies out there, I admire Sleeping Beauty the most musically, because they based the movie off of the music that was already written by Tchaikovsky for the ballet. Bravo, Disney. Bravo. This simple song is one of my faves. A choir takes over the vocals before too long. :)
Someone's Waiting For You
"The Rescuers"
This song is personal for me. Growing up, I always took the message of this song and treasured it in my heart. Being adopted, I was one of the lucky ones who found a great family. Not every kid in foster care has that. This song speaks to those who are losing hope.
